Arkus appears and pursues him to the top, engaging him in battle. Arkus falls but the Godlings engaged and defeated Malakil, destroying him, scattering his built up energies across the multiverse and releasing the Darklings contained within him. Kaevar is chosen for godhood, becoming god of Guardians, Allies and Mercy. He creates the afterlife Absolution which he reigns over. With the fall of Malakil, The Third Era begins.
0 3E The time spell that had spared Zefvyr from Malakil deposits him here in the timeline. The gods test him and proclaim him one of them. He becomes god of Stories.
20 3E Bartholomew, weakened from an age of being fed on by Malakil schemes to claim the plane of Biron by taking control of its crime lords. He is stymied by a ragtag group of vigilantes who destroy his crime ring. He threatens to destroy the plane and Coal Sem the Ironwall offers his services in trade. Biron is spared.
120 3E Bartholomew continues his campaign, spreading darkness across the Plane of Sarut after its gods and champions have left it. Eventually the gods all become involved and the war of the gods begins.

They are stopped by a serial killer called Atlas and a loan shark named Re’ak. The two become dark gods in service to Bartholomew. Re’ak becomes god of deals and Atlas becomes god of nightmares. Both are subsequently defeated by Alvista, Nicoletta and Artemis. They lose their physical forms for ten years.
